Elementary School Hosts Successful Family Lunch and Learn Events

Charles F. Hard Elementary School recently welcomed families for a series of interactive Lunch and Learn events, giving parents a firsthand look into their children's daily educational experience. The school hosted two separate sessions to accommodate families across all grade levels. On Tuesday, Oct. 14, families of Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade students participated. A second event, held on Thursday, Oct. 16, served the families of 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade students.

Parents and guardians enjoyed the opportunity to visit their children’s classrooms, observe lessons, and see the engaging activities their children participate in each day. The visits provided a valuable opportunity for families to connect directly with the learning environment. Following the classroom visits, parents and students shared a delicious lunch together. The school extended a special thank you to its CNP staff (Child Nutrition Program) for preparing the wonderful meal that capped off the successful family engagement days.
