Elementary School Holds Spirit Week for Standardized Testing
Charles F. Hard Elementary School held a "Hitting the High Note" spirit week to encourage students before upcoming standardized testing.
The week began with students and staff wearing school shirts and the color red to show school pride and readiness for the ACAP assessment.
A pep rally featuring the Bessemer City High School Marching Band brought energy and excitement to the school, officials said. Students danced and showed their school spirit in preparation for testing.
Tuesday was "Band Tee Tuesday," with students and staff wearing shirts representing their favorite musical artists. The school said students were "jamming out with confidence" and ready to "rock the test."
The spirit week continued with "Rock Star Ready" day, where students and staff wore bold colors and dressed as their favorite rock stars, bringing "energy, confidence, and flair" to the school. The school emphasized that its students are ready to "rock" the ACAP test.
